Instead of blogging about recent incidents, which I don't want to be reminded of, I am going to write a detailed analysis on GIRL'S DATING SIMS. >=)

Anyway, my dataing sim 'career' started with this one game on Gameboy Advance, I forgot the name, but it really sucked me in, now I'm addicted to Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 2nd Season (which is the sequel to Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Love, which I didn't really play because none of the guys really attracted me, lol) on DS. Oh the joy of having an R4 and playing all these random games that I would never buy. Coincidentally, I am also play Otometeki Koi Kakumei * Love Revo!! which is about 'you' who, as a kid, was really good looking and won all these beauty contests but due to an unhealthy obsession with sweets, you now weight over 100kg and moves into an apartment complex where the 'princes' of the school lives (also your oniichan is really hot and rumours have it that after you finish the game you can date him for some incest action... although other rumours suggest that he is in fact not your blood sibling but merely someone who you've called oniichan because you've been with him since small or something, but then no one is really sure because, well, the game is in Japanese, lol). I am also eagerly awaiting another coming up title called 'Dual Love', apparently the art was by the same person as popular shojo series HanaKimi or something. Anyway, my recent addiction to Tokimeki 2 resulted me in playing from 10pm to 11am STRAIGHT without any sleep and this inner guilt in which my brain accused me of obsessing over a dating sim...

Anyway, this game is in fact, so good, it is the first ever game that made me actually FEEL GUILTY about cheating on the guy in which I like. I don't know what makes this game so realistic, perhaps the hot voice acting, or the way the guys blushes, but it really made my weak overweight otaku heart 'tokidoki'. I never really got into Tokimeki 1 because the guys weren't really that hot and, err, it was all Japanese, but after playing other Jap games (because I no longer have the patience to wait 2 years for an english release, if it ever will be released), my comprehension of Japanese is fortunately better to the degree that I can understand the basics of the game now. Rest assured that now that I have played this game with its perfect anime bishis, I will never be satisfied with actually having a real boyfriend person thing. I am satisfied with forever drowning in this series (if, and I hope there will be, future installments).

In analysis of girl's dating sims, I have realised that guys are split into categories, where guys of each categories usually appear in each game, these are:

1. The Bishi All-Rounder: Yes, the Bishi, he is the most popular guy in school, girls swoon over his presence, although charming, he's usually pretty cold and distance when you first meet him, however, as you guys warm up, he'll become the sweetest cutest guy you can have (especially when he blushes x3).
Appearance - Well... he's a bishi, usually will sport a blonde longish (still short, but long-short, if you get what I mean, like their har is short but will swish and float when there is wind around xD)
At School - He is usually elite both academically and sports-wise, although not right at the peak (that's where the other categories come from).
Occupation/Clubs - He can range from a model for a magazine to hospitality industries, such as a waiter (a CHARMING waiter, where females customers swoon at their presence).
Comments - At first I don't really aim for the bishis, they're not really my type (because I don't really like those charming-all-the-ladies type), but then they totally charmed the pants off me when I got to know them better...

2. The Nerd: My most hated category, and I almost can never see anything attractive about those, totally not my type of guy, but that's just me. Usually a pretty serious type of guy, CAN have short moments where they are sorta hot, but only little moments.
Appearance - GLASSES GLASSES GLASSES is all I have to say. He also sports short, good-boy haircuts with a part or a fring, hmm, sorta like Trunks-hair I guess, but Trunks isn't a nerd. xD
At School - Always right at the top of the academic chart, on a side note, you'll also need pretty high marks if there is any chance he would be interested in you, pretty shallow if you ask me. Also he doesn't appear in sporting events such as the Sports Festival or whatever.
Occupation/Clubs - He usually doesn't have a part-time job (probably because it'll interupt with his studies or something) and spends the afternoon going to jukus (tutoring classes or whatever). Club-wise, if in any club, he would probably be with the students representatives, cuz he's a nerd xD.
Comments - No comments, I hate nerds, they become tedious when you try to get the ending for every guy and you have to date him to get his ending, yuck. Well, actually I haven't tried it, maybe I'll give him a go... after I finish with the other guys xD.

The Sports Guy: The range for this category is pretty wide actually, I've seen from Honey-Senpai type of cute sporting geniuses to Mori-Senpai type of the gentle giant. xD
Appearance - As mentioned before, he ranges, but I guess the typical one would have black/navy hair, a bandaid on his cheek and is constantly seen with a sporting equipment, like a basketball.
At School - Obviously good at sports, but would almost always suck academically.
Occupation/Clubs - Well, he's probably part of a sports club (duh), or he's working somewhere manly, like an oil-inserter-service-person... you know, at a petrol station, where they give you gas, in Japan.
Comments - Hmm... Usually, I'm pretty sucker for sporting types, but none of them really left an impression on me.

The Cute Kohai: For all of you who are in love with younger guys, this is for you. He usually won't come in until you are in second year (he IS a kohai afterall), so you'll have one year of nothing if your only aim is him.
Appearance - Cute. Sometimes, he can be a little cheeky, really, a little brother type. Other female students tend to mother over him a lot...
At School - Like the Bishi, he is also usually elite both academically and sports-wise, although not right at the peak.
Occupation/Clubs - Hmm, no fixed club or job really, but probably not in a club where there's already a guy there xD. I've also seen him in the gardening club... -__-
Comments - Although, I like Teppei, which is besides the point, I find the cute kohai second worst (after the nerd), I'm just not really into little brother types... probably because I have one xD On a side note, there was this one cute kohai which at first I thought, hey! his voice sounds sorta Teppei-like! On closer inspection, he had a mole under the corner of his lips exactly where Teppei also has a mole!!! I don't know if this is a mere coincident... *squints eyes in suspicion*

The Bad-Ass: Oh~ My favourite!! <3 I really can't resist their bad-ass charm x3 Most likely THERE WILL BE A FIGHT SCENE between him and ugly goons, haha, oh, thinking about it turns me on .
Appearance - HOT!!! Well, that's just my opinion. But most likely he'll have dyed hair (purple/red streaks/blonde/brown/whatever) cut in the most fashionable/hot way, spikes/long fringes brushed to the side/WHATEVER!! <3
At School - Obviously at the bottom of the academic rank... But I still love him.
Occupation/Clubs - Usually none, sometimes you can hardly even find him at school... Recently I've seen him as a musician, like in a guitar with a band working at a CD store... I guess they're trying to soften his image and give him some 'good qualities' (although I loved him even when he had no purpose in life or society )
Comments - w00t!! LOVE! But he doesn't usually appear at the beginning of the game, so you'll have to be patient until he appears.

The Gaijin: Yes, there are usually gaijins in dating sims. xD He is usually eccentric and a little (well, actually, VERY) flirtatious. Unfortunately, he also always speak in Kansai-ben (don't ask me why, I mean, it awould already be difficult for the gaijin to speak in Japanese, let alone Kansai-ben. But then they do tend to make 'people who are different' speak in Kansai-ben xDDD)
Appearance - Has shiny blonde hair, the more eccentric ones would have long flowing blond hair with several tiny braids in it... -_- Also has blue eyes...
At School - No idea, LOL.
Occupation/Clubs - He usually participate in clubs (although according to sources, university clubs don't let exchange students join clubs because they're not going to be there for the whole uni years). He can sometimes be found in the art club, where he'll ask you to model for him, cuz you're 'meccha kawaii' xDDD
Comment - MEH!!! Don't like gaijins, if I liked gaijins I would've played games like Miami Nights: Singles in the City, LOL.

The Hot Teacher: Yes, you heard right, the teacher is almost always dateable. He ranges a lot in my opinion, his personality can range from strict to clumsy/cute.
Appearance - Well, he's 'proper', I don't know, sometimes, he sports a Kyoya (from Ouran) look, sometimes, a Ned Flanders green jumper...
At School - Err, he's the teacher... In Tokimeki 2, he's also a genius who has 200IQ and did research in USA at the age of 13 xDDD
Occupation/Clubs - He is definitely one of the 'komon' (advisors) of a certain club, I've seen him in the band and the altheletic club (where he showed off his stunning high jumps of grace under the sunset LOL)
Comments - You can't ask him out on dates, excursions are sort of like you guy's form of dates xDDD Makes excursions out into one akward activity (luckily there aren't any more excursions now that I'm in uni, lol) If he likes you enough, he will ask you out one-on-one Umm, I really hated the teacher from Tokimeki 1, but I was totally in love with the teacher in Tokimeki 2, he's sooooooooo cute with his absent-minded-ness. x3

...I suddenly can't be bothered continuing because I'm going back to play the game now.

1st Day in Japan

OMG! The rumours were true! The cakes in Japan ARE super nice!!! As you may all know, I don't really have much of a sweet tooth, most of the food I normally crave are either meat or chips, so I've never been too keen on cakes and stuff. BUT IT'S SO NICE HERE!!! Actually, I got it in the first place cuz I was like 'Since I'm in Japan, I'll get a cake, just like in animes, with an ichigo on top! ^__^' kind of mood. But the whipped cream, so light and fluffy, even the strawberrys are so juicy and sweet. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...

Anyway, about not cake stuff. Came to Kansai, met 5 other boobooskiers and went to Shinsaibashi. Unlike Yan said, I didn't see any random guys picking up girls, but that might be because it was so crowded with people. Had dinner with bbs ppls, and me, being a stingy bastard, ordered a 650yen thing with no drinks cuz I wanna save money. And this guy, he orders NO LESS THAN 4 whiskys and in the end we divided the bill cuz everyone ate everyone's stuff. Although that guy paid more, I still ended up paying 1000yen, NOT HAPPY

Then separated from the group with this one guy to go to arcades.... NoooOOOoooOOOooo!!! So many UFO's!!!!!!!!! Ended up watching the guy play taiko no tatsujin and wasting 400yen on an impossible doll. xD

Then we bought cake and cuz SOMEONE (ie the guy) is a dumbass, we missed the last train and had to walk home from one station before. Osaka at night is so quiet... So peaceful. Normally, I'd be pretty scared walking around in the night, but it was peaceful and nice... and that guy was a karate black belt xDDD ANYWAY, my cake toppled over But it was still cold cuz they gave me this sorta ice pack thing, how nice.

ANYWAY, totally NOT looking forward to more socialising tomorrow. Today was already like turned onto silent mode... Forcing myself to be social is really suffocating me. T___T And it's only day one...

Random Crap

As Su requested, here's the first felt anima I made yesterday: a black cat

Which is next to my black mouse, how ironic.

Anyway, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, took me one afternoon only. Now I'm thinking of tying a ribbon on it... and using it as my pin cushion. OH YEAH! That reminds me, I dropped a needle next to my bed yesterday... T____T I'd better find it before it finds me... :|

Errrgh, Blogging After Like 3 Months... About Stuff From 2 Months Ago

Haha, you know, I was blogging about SMASH (ages ago), then I kinda stopped and saved it to my email and was sorta blogging in bits, but I'm up to that stage where I can remember anything anymore. Anyway, so HERE'S MY POST ABOUT SMASH!!! (Even though Animania is just over, lol)

ZOMG!! Can't believe stall held at SMASH was actually a success... xD It was only because everyone else were real artists and selling emo stuff like artists sell and we sorta had the monopoly on cute stuff, lol. I'm kinda getting these vibes from other artists like 'she's not even selling real art, she's just selling what people want to buy... she's such a sellout... etc.' I don't want to sound like an accounting nerd but I actually enjoyed sitting there selling stuff more than actually participating in other events at SMASH. xD When I wasn't at the stall, I was thinking about it, thinking about what kind of people are coming in to buy stuff, whether anything was being bought etc. People/consumer watching is actually fun! I even spotted a few bogans!!! Didn't even know bogans liked anime. xD

Customers I liked getting:
- Li'l kids, namely li'l boys, not that I'm a pedophile... *shifts eyes*
- Basically anyone out of the target range of 12-25 year old girls, it was just a nice surprise to get other people buying stuff. xD (Although I'm still happy that 12-25 year old girls bought stuff)

Comments (not directed at me but was talking about the stall) I liked getting:
- 'OMG! I spent like most money at this stall definitely!' - 12-14 year old girl
- 'Aww, they're sold out!' - 14-16 year old girl with bunch of friends she bought with her
- *Two chicks half fighting over Su's handmade bookmarks* Me: I'm sorry, she just bought the last one xDDD
Things I enjoyed about sitting there on my ass all day long:
- Sitting on my ass all day long
- People watching (namely hot cosplayers xD)
- Emitting buy-my-stuff-alpha-waves
- Telling Dennis that he can't afford any of the stuff on our table (with $1... nice try LOSER!)
- Seeing people kinda hover around the table then leave then come crawling back, nyuk nyuk nyuk.
- Having people bring their group of friends back (GIMME MONEY~! lol)
- Having people go 'I want this, this, this... oh umm, and this, oh this one too... etc.' LOL
- Selling random posters that I wasn't actually gonna sell (didn't think of selling them at all, lol)

Things I DID NOT like people doing:
- STUPID FOBS taking pictures of my tediously stuck up (well not really, but ripping off masking tape was a pain, lol) shrine behind me without even asking 'Hey, artist-sama, your shrine is so mega 1337! I know I'm a n00best and undeserving, but can I please have the honour of taking a picture of your beautiful honourable shrine?' Well, I guess just a 'Can I please take a picture of your shrine?' would do, lol. But then my bro kinda reminded me of how this was the same as me taking pictures of the TV screen with the picture of our faces on a rollercoaster...
- Dennis coming over to pick up Su, Miyu and Larlyn with ONE BUCK. How can someone expect to pick up chicks with one dollar in their pockets. -__- I was sorta half relying on him trying to impress Su to sell the leftover stuff, lol.

Pros about sitting next to Miyu:
- Leeching off her people traffic!
- Gave me something to do when no one's buying stuff from me.

Cons about sitting next to Miyu:
- I get crowds of people trying to get at her table and not really looking at my stuff and blocking other people from checking out my stuff. T___T

Thanks to people who looked after my stall, and, randomly, Miyu's stall. xDDD And thanks to Wira for googling where Officeworks was during her work time, lol. Now, I'm going to invest my retained earnings into a badge machine capital fund. :D

I would also like to post some photos of SMASH... EXCEPT the person who was supposed to be taking pictures sent me a whole bunch of blurry pictures and pictures of Takoyaki signs and bottled water, *cough*nina*cough*.

PS. Is currently reading forums about Naruto game on Wii and the largest thread with about 158 replies is an argument about whether Saukura (Suckera, haha) SUCKS. I have to admit, she does suck... SO WHAT if she has better chakra control over Naruto and Sasuke??? I haven't even seen it utilised (before shippuden)!!! Nah, Sakura, until Shippuden was a complete waste of space. GO TEMARI!
PPS. Funny quote from forum: I use wikipedia, but... it once claimed that "your mom" was a very popular ninja manga in Japan.
LOLLERSKATES!!!
